The role of the experts
To help the local residents discuss and think about the issues, a range of experts are helping with any questions people have about low carbon energy sources.
The technical experts
These experts know a lot about the different technologies we will be looking at. They will offer scientific knowledge, also their own view points and personal insights.
Although the experts may not necessarily agree with each other on what actions should be taken, they will be able to tell us about what’s possible when thinking about how to use these new technologies.

The policy experts
There are also people from external organsations - local authorities, businesses, community groups - and people from Government who are helping us with our questions. These people will have experiences and opinions about how technologies might be delivered into people's homes and communities - what works and what doesn't.
The Energy Savings Trust have been attending our forums and contributing their views to the discussion. They provide free impartial advice and information on how you can be more energy efficient in your home. http://www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/
